Description:

Late 18th / early 19th century Wedgwood creamware sauce tureen. With transfer pattern of shells, mollusks and coral in black and green enamel, the underplate with frilled edge. Impressed "WEDGWOOD" marks. Some fritting and small restorations to rim, restoration to surface and small crack to underplate; enamel losses, chip to rim and footrim of tureen. No cover. Tureen 3" H x 5.25" dia., underplate 7.5" dia.
