Two woodblocks from the 100 Stories of the Moon. (1) Kensin Uesugi; famous warrior composing letter under flying geese. (2) Samurai and moon after rain. Matching custom wood frames (with silk mats and plexiglass). M. Nakazawa Tokyo labels to reverse (with dates March 1890 and December 1885) and Denman Associates, 2124 5th Ave., Seattle stamps. Appear in good condition with some expected small age spots / toning; not examined out of frames. Mat openings 12 5/8" x 8 5/8" approx. Frames 19.25" x 13.5".
