Tony Foster (b.1946 California) "Koma Kulshan, Great White Watcher, Mt Baker" Watercolor, 1996. From Foster's "Ice and Fire: Watercolor Diaries of Volcano Journeys" Series exhibited in 1999. Signed lower right. An intricate watercolor with sweeping view from the High Divide Trail painted on location, pencil inscriptions along lower edge documenting experience. Framed with 2 small watercolors and hand written list of wildflowers in bloom (July, 1996). Montgomery Gallery (San Franscisco, CA) label on verso. Artwork measures 22x31", wildflower watercolor at bottom measures 3.5x6". Framed in deep maple frame with overall measurements of 33x39.5". Wear to frame with some separation at lower left corner, artwork in excellent condition (noted pin holes at corners as likely left artist's drawing board.
