Description:

The Beatles Yesterday and Today "Butcher Cover" 1966. In Stereo, with the insignia RIAA number 5, printed in Los Angeles. Known as a "Third State" Butcher Cover, meaning the Trunk Cover that was used to cover up the Butcher Cover was carefully removed. This is obvious by the shiny residue barely visible on the jacket, as well as the 1/4 inch cut off the jacket by Capital Records during the initial covering up of the Butcher Cover. This is a very high-quality removal of the trunk cover, with little visible indication of the Trunk Cover, and very light glue residue markings. The jacket itself has visible ware to the sides of the cardboard, the top front text reading "File under The Beatles" is mostly faded away. The back of the jacket has some obvious staining and discoloration, as well as a circled 'T" written in blue ink on the back bottom right side. Most of the writing on the side of the jacket is illegible.
