Description:

Seven 19th century hand-colored engravings of monkeys from The Naturalist's Library by Sir William Jardine, 7th Baronet (1800 - 1874). Includes depictions of The Wanderoo Monkey, The Siamang, The Araguaio, The Active Gibbon, White Maimon, The Mandril Baboon, and The Chacma. All are framed. All engravings and frames are in very good condition. Largest measures 8x19" overall; the others 12x10" overall each.
