Description:

Japanese ceramic set of five porcelain bowls designed by Fuji Tatsukichi (1884-1961 Japan). Each on a short footrim with vertical ribbed and grooved sides, press molded with coarse cloth pattern under a light olive-green glaze, with small spiral within two lines and three teardrop devices, the exterior with orange, silver and black band and lines over nine teardrop devices. Small nibble to rim of one bowl; otherwise all appear in very good condition. Each 2.25" H x 3.75" D approx. With inscribed tomobako.
