Robert McCauley (b.1958 Washington) "A Clear Cut Concept of Heaven (Glacier Peak)" Painting and Mixed Media Artwork, 1996. Signed and dated on verso; title stamped into frame. Oil on canvas depicting a long horizontal view of Washington's Glacier Peak mountain with painted tin wrapped frame, Shelf at base of frame holds found objects with painted deer mask, antlers (likely deer or elk), pack shovel, surveyors staff, and axe with carved wood faux metal head. Painting in frame measures 26x90.5x2.5" and with assemblage on shelf artwork extends out roughly 12". Some light scuffs but artwork seems to have an intentional worn appearance; overall very good condition.
