Patinated bronze allegorical statue of Justice holding a ledger tablet and piercing a snake (extends below pedestal; open mouth with tongue) with a sword. Signed "P. L. Kowalczewski" at bottom right side. Black and red-variegated marble base (a few tiny chips along front bottom edge). Appears in excellent original condition. Kowalczewski (1865-1910) was active/ lived in Germany. 15.25" total height. Bronze figure 10" H. Base 5.25" H x 4.75" W x 3.75" D.
