Pair 18th C. sterling silver salvers with identical engraved armorial coats of arms with the motto "FAUSTE SUCCEDUNT QUI DEO CREDUNT". Stamped with "WP" in heart shape maker's marks with London hallmarks; one with date letter "n" for 1748 and one with date letter "q" for 1751. Both very good condition with clear engravings. 1748 salver: 498 grams approx. and 1 1/8" H x 9 5/8" dia. 1751 salver: 530 grams approx and 1 1/8" H x 9 3/4" dia.
