Mirrored Pair of Chinese Porcelain Wu Shuang Pu Vases, ca. early 20th century. Finely enameled with characters from the "Wu Shuang Pu" (Table of Peerless Heroes) on all four sides, accompanied by calligraphic inscriptions describing the names and exploits of each character, written in a well-controlled regular script. Emblems and flowers painted above. Gilded beast-head handles on either side. Some minor wear to enamel and gilding; vases in very good condition. Each measure 8.75" tall, 4" across at widest point approx.
