Pair of old African Bamileke tribe Beaded Masks from Cameroon in West Africa. Masks meant to be worn on top of the head during performances by men only during important gatherings and ceremonies. Made with pre-colonization beads, shells and metal. The masks' vibrant colors and smiling personalities offer simple joy to any observer and lifts up spirits. Sourced from an established African artifacts and art collector, these were in his possession for many decades. Very good condition, shows normal wear for age and material makeup. Masks measure approximately 15" high, 12" wide and 6" deep.
