Nepalese gilt-bronze Buddhist statue depicting Mahakala Bernagchen protector deity. Embellished with turquoise and semi-precious stones. Hand-painted details to face and hair. Finely incised details throughout both figure and lotus base. Patina applied to reverse. Figure and flame arch are removeable from base. In good condition. Vajra mark on copper-alloy plate at bottom. Figure measures 5" tall, 6" at widest point approx., with base 10" tall, 7" at widest point approx.
