Michael Lucero (b.1953 Tennessee) "Tree with Bottles (New World Series)" Ceramic and Metal Sculpture, 1994. Similar to Lucero's "Soul Catcher" artwork in the Hootkins Collection, this work has 6 glazed and painted hand thrown bottle vases with paintings of moths on blackened steel wall mounted "tree" rack. Rack measures 44x24" and extends up to 10"; bottles measures 9.5" to 17.25" and are 4.5" to 7.5" in diameter. Tarnish and scattered rust to rack; likely as intended, artwork in very good condition.
