Limited edition of 250 number copies of which this is #50. Slipcover contains two books; the smaller is a facsimile of the first edition owned by William Andrews Clark. The two frontispieces of the larger book are portraits of Shakespeare and Dryden. At the back of the larger book are twelve beautifully colored plates. Typeface is Cloister Lightface, and the paper was maded by Van Gelder Zonen. A bound in tag says: "Compliments of William Andrews Clark, Jr., Christmas 1929. Clark was the founder of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and a rare book collector. Red paper covered boards and white spine covers. There are two small spots on the spine cover of the larger book." Very good. No dust jacket as issued
