Description:

Antique Taisho era Japanese Kutani Satsuma ceramic bowl. Hand painted with white raised glaze "pearls". Painted image depicts the Buddhist deity, Kwan Yin and four noted Bodhisattva. Bottom is marked "Kutani" a top ceramic kiln of Japan's Meiji and Taisho periods. Good condition with wear to foot, no chips or breaks. Measures approx 10.5" at widest points and 2.5" tall.
