Clear glass encasing multi-colored interior filigrana, cane, and millefiori. Engraved signature to lower rear of leg. Nowak (b. 1956) studied at the Pratt School of Fine Arts and the Pilchuck Glass School in Washington. He learned the art of glass blowing from some of the most famous American glass artists of the 20th century including Dale Chihuly, Benjamin Moore, Richard Royal, and Dante Marioni. He now has his own glass studio in Seattle. Custom steel base/ stand. Excellent condition. 11.25" H x 4.5" W approx.; 12.25" H including base.
