Center bottom with abstract circle design in thick gloss crackle glaze; sides and exterior in matte glaze. Signature to underside. Purchased at "The Little Gallery" of Frederick & Nelson, Seattle (includes original store box). Excellent condition. 2.25" H x 14" dia. Bovingdon was a major figure in the Northwest Studio Art Pottery Movement and helped Katherine David Anson and Constance Jarvis found Pottery Northwest in 1966. She was an early student of Paul Voulkos, and went on to study ceramics with Jim McKinnell, Ken Ferguson, David Shaner, and Shoji Hamada.
