Print from the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage series depicting "General Sugaru stopped the storm and thunder by the help of Goddess of Mercy of Tsubozakan Temple in Yamato (.Nara)'. Scene by Utagawa Hiroshige II (Shigenobu) (1826–1869) and the figure by Utagawa Kunisada I (Toyokuni III) (1786-1864). Certified as dating from 1859 and framed by M. Ishii & Sons, Yokohama, Japan. Appears in good condition with slight horizontal crease through center of image, signes of age, etc. Not examined out of frame. Includes original store box. Mat opening 13.5" x 9". Frame 18.5" x 13.75".
