Sterling silver gadrooned oval platter with engraved coat of arms within rococo floral / shell cartouche. London hallmarks with date letter for 1758 and script GM maker's mark for George Methuen under rim.. Bottom engraved N12 and 29=4. Good condition with expected light knife marks, etc. 876 grams approx. 14 1/2" x 9 7/8".
