Portrait of a mother and baby on panel. Signed and dated 1922 upper left corner. Gilt brass frame with beveled glass panel and hanging hook. Appears in excellent condition; not examined out of frame. Includes original leather box with fitted velvet and silk lined interior (age wear). Born 1887 in Indiana, Quivey was a resident of San Francisco in 1901. Shortly thereafter, he settled in Los Angeles where he remained until his death in1943. Frame 5 1/4" x 4 1/4". Box 7 3/4" x 6".
