Description:

Chinese painted pottery figure of a prancing horse, the left foreleg raised and articulated as if in mid-step, with mouth open and head gently bent to oppose the movement of the leg. Molded saddle and appliques to body. Repair to one side of saddlecloth and chip to the other; repair to raised leg. Collected in Malaysia during the 1960's. 9.5" H x 10.5" x 4".
