No. 127 monumento di Canova nella Chiesa dei Frari. Albumen print of the Monument to Canova in the Frari Church. Plain mount with titles and descriptions in French, English, and German printed to the reverse (giltedges). Naya (1816-1882) opened his studio in Venice in 1857 and also sold work through Carlo Ponti. Circa 1870's. Very good condition; minor surface scuffs, etc. 13 3/4" x 10 1/2" photograph; 16 7/8" x 12 1/4"mounting (small lower right corner loss).
