Description:

Circa mid 19th C. hand hammered and chased Continental teapot. Flower form finial to hinged lid and two natural material insulators to hollow cast handle. Engraved monogram to side; polishing wear. Stamped M. WEIS twice to bottom. Possibly sterling or 830 (UNTESTED) with no apparent silver content mark. Good condition. 560 total grams approx. 6 1/2" H approx. 9 1/4" spout to handle.
