Two late 19th century color chromolithograph illustration plates from The Medical and Surgical History of the War of the Rebellion – Part I, Volume II. Includes: "Plate X. Penetration of Anterior Mediasinum by Canister" and "Plate XII. Gunshot Wound of Thorax and Abdomen". T. Sinclair & Son lithographer, Philadelphia, after images by Edward Stauch. Plate X includes name and rank of soldier pictured. Very good condition with bright colors; normal signs of age, etc. Images 8 1/4" x 6 3/8" and 8 1/2" x 6 1/4". Paper 8 3/4" x 11 3/4".
