Two late 19th century color chromolithograph illustration plates from The Medical and Surgical History of the War of the Rebellion – Part I, Volume II. Includes: "Plate IX. Wounds of the Neck by Conoidal Musket Balls" and "Plate XI. Shot Wound of the Thorax and Abdomen, with Hernia of the Lungs". T. Sinclair & Son lithographer, Philadelphia, after images by Edward Stauch. Includes names and ranks of each soldier pictured. Very good condition with bright colors; normal signs of age, etc. Images 6 1/4" x 8 1/8" and 6 1/4" x 8 5/8". Paper 8 3/4" x 11 3/4".
