6 Japanese Imari Porcelain Dishes. (1): Japanese Imari Porcelain Bat & Peony Dish. Circa 19th century. Enameled opposing peony and fruit roundel bordered by three bats in underglaze blue against panels on a swirling iron-red ground. Two chips and restorations to rim; some enamel losses and wear to surface. 9.5" dia. (2): A Japanese imari dish with antique vase and bird on white prunus tree. Blue, aubergine and yellow lappet border. Wear to enamels at interior; missing areas to aubergine flower sprays at exterior. 8.5" dia. (3): Pair of two small fluted Imari porcelain dishes. Both in good condition. 3.75" dia. (4): Pair of Imari footed dishes. Each with bird and flowers on a trellace. Chip to underside of one dish, minor chip to rim and underside on the other. 1.75" H x 3.75" across.
