5 Antique Japanese Satsuma Jars / Vase / Bowl. (1): A pair of ginger jars with scenes of playing children dressed as scholars and musicians. In moriage and enamels with gilt highlights. Meiji period. Unmarked. Missing lids. Measures 3.75" tall; 3.25" across each. (2): A tripod censer with painted mille-fluer and panels of officials and women. Pierced lid with branch finial. Impressed mark at base. 20th century. In good condition overall. Measures 2" H x 3" across approx. (3): A bottle vase with tall flaring neck with panels of samurai, women, and children in painted enamels with gilt moriage highlights. Marked at base with Satsuma family crest. Cracks to base. Measures 7" H. (5): A foliate bowl with painted kingfisher birds under flowering peony and daisies. Design extrapolated to sides. Marked. In very good condition. 4.75" diameter.
