2 Vintage WWII U.S. Engineer Anatomical Posters. Both posters prepared by the Safety Section of the U.S. Engineer Department Omaha District Office, 1 January 1944. (1): "Types and Care of Fractures". Displays examples of simple and compound fractures along with splinting methods. Some staining at upper right, tape repairs at bottom corners of reverse. Expected creasing from wear and use. (2): "Tourniquet". Features acrostic poem related to gangrene. Some staining at upper reverse and lower left edge; expected creasing from wear and use. Both posters printed in blue on paper with canvas backing. Both measure 49" long, 29.5" across approx.
