2 Antique Japanese Teacups & Saucers. (1): Japanese "Dutch Ships" Teacup & Saucer. Handpainted export porcelain, probably Meiji period or slightly earlier. Teacup with finely painted floral garlands and medallions in iron red, marked at bottom. Saucer with "Dutch Ships" pattern featuring depictions of Dutch merchants and their sailing vessels. Six-character Chenghua mark at base. Teacup 2" tall, saucer 4.5" diameter approx. (2): A Kyoto porcelain teacup of foliate form with handpainted enamel panels highlighted with gilt accents. Saucer of mirrored ribbed and foliate form with applied enamels. Both pieces marked. Slight chip at teacup rim. Teacup 2" tall, 2.5" diameter, saucer 4" diameter approx.
