It is an honor to present an auction of the collection of Marjorie “Marge” Levy (1943-2025). A lifelong artist with a concentration in ceramics dating back to the 1970’s, Marge’s illustrious career included positions as professor of ceramics at Purdue University, Dean of the School of Art & Design at University of Michigan, Executive Director of the Pilchuck Glass School (1991-2000), and in retirement was a staunch supporter and champion for Seattle arts through her associations with Pottery Northwest, Artist Trust, Henry Art Gallery, NCECA, and the Seattle Art Museum. Marge had an incredible impact on countless artists over her lifetime and her collection is a truly remarkable survey of talented artists working across craft mediums in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
